We Use Qualified Attorneys to Conduct Our Consultations, Not Paralegals
Many law firms in the Bay Area will use paralegals or legal assistants to conduct your initial consultation and not attorneys or lawyers. We do not agree with this practice and you should expect more for your hard earned money when retaining attorneys and lawyers. Our Bay Area clients are our success and we want each and every one of you to walk away feeling like you were a priority and received the face to face attorney time you deserve for reasonable fees. If your attorneys or lawyers are too busy to meet with you in the beginning to earn your business why would they have time for you once you retain their services? Also, only attorneys or lawyers are allowed to give you legal advice. We know your time is valuable and your time should not be wasted meeting with someone who cannot legally answer your questions. We Are Available and Accessible
If one of our attorneys or lawyers is at court or meeting with another client another lawyer is available to answer your questions and attend to your needs. We answer our phones personally and you will have direct access to our Bay Area attorneys or lawyers by email. We are committed to providing personal service for reasonable fees. We know about the stereotypes and we are trying one client at a time to dispel those stereotypes. Proper communication is the key to effective and efficient representation.
Customer Service
The Law Offices of Lin & Wood takes great pride in our customer service and reasonable fees. We are available Monday – Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. with weekend and evening appointments available upon special request. We also routinely answer emails over the weekend. If you do not have time to meet with us during the week because you are working hard to support yourself or your family we will make time on Saturdays to meet with you under certain circumstances. Saturday appointments are rare, but available.

We charge reasonable fees that are based upon the amount of work we believe is required to obtain the result you seek, nothing more and nothing less. We also charge reasonable fees by the hour if a flat fee is not possible. This means we look at ourselves as part of the big picture and do our best to practice capitalism with a conscience. We zealously advocate on behalf our Bay Area clients, but our attorney and lawyers do not take actions that will increase our reasonable fees for our own financial benefit to our clients’ detriment.
